Use case

Events and activities, before, during and after.

A tournament, a concert, a street party or a team weekend. Before: what will it cost? During: who paid? After: who still owes whom? Penny Monet covers all three.

Three moments

How an event runs in Penny Monet

  1. 1

    Before: expected items

Record venue hire, ticket sales or a deposit as expected. The group balance shows the expected change; the current numbers stay true.

  2. 2

    During: record as you go

Whoever pays submits an expense claim. In a Splitpot, people record what they paid and who it was for.

  3. 3

    After: settle up

Settle the Splitpot in a round, record payments and offset where that makes sense.

In your calendar

Upcoming costs on their dates.

Create a calendar feed of the expected items for an event and subscribe to it. The dates show up in your calendar app, read-only, next to your other plans.
