Calendar sync

Your group’s transactions in your calendar.

Create a calendar feed from a selection of transactions and subscribe to it in your calendar app. Expected payments and other items appear on their dates, next to your other plans.

How it works

From selection to subscription

  1. 1

    Make a selection

Filter the transactions you want, for example all expected expenses, or only your own items.

  2. 2

    Create a feed

Choose “Create calendar feed from this selection”. You get a private subscription link.

  3. 3

    Subscribe in your calendar

Add the link as a calendar subscription in your calendar app. Your calendar decides when it fetches updates.

Good to know

What the feed does and doesn’t do

One-way and read-only
The feed shows transactions from Penny Monet in your calendar. Changes in your calendar don’t flow back, and nothing in Penny Monet is changed by the feed.
All-day entries
Each transaction appears as an all-day entry on its date, marked as free so it doesn’t block your agenda.
Private link
Treat the subscription link like a password. You can revoke it at any time; the link then stops working.
Follows your membership
Every time the calendar fetches the feed, your current membership is checked. If you leave the group, the feed stops delivering data.
No calendar account needed
Penny Monet doesn’t ask for your Google, Apple or Outlook login. You only add a link.
Old entries may stay
After revoking, remove the subscription from your calendar too. Entries that were already fetched can remain there.
